Laut Wikipedia "ist ein Hackathon (auch bekannt als Hacktag, Hackfest oder Codefest) eine Veranstaltung, bei der Computerprogrammierer und andere an der Software- und Hardwareentwicklung Beteiligte, darunter Grafikdesigner, Oberflächendesigner und Projektmanager, intensiv an Softwareprojekten zusammenarbeiten". Gewöhnlich geben die Organisatoren von Hack-Tagen ihren Teilnehmern 24/48 Stunden Zeit, um zusammenzuarbeiten und ihre Magie anzuwenden, um ein einzigartiges und originelles Produkt zu schaffen - und ja, es ist intensiv. Der MTV Music Hack Day ist nicht anders, und wie der Name vermuten lässt, ist sein Thema Musik. Die Veranstaltung, zu der ich gekommen bin, fand 2011 statt, und sie war gelinde gesagt kreativ.
