CLIMATE CHANGE THROUGH A FEMINIST LENS

The Australian Embassy kicked off 2025 with a thought-provoking discussion on climate action and gender equity, featuring renowned photographer Hilary Wardhaugh. She shared the powerful story behind the 1,247 images in the visual petition, capturing the views of women and non-binary people on climate change across Australia.

Throughout the evening, guests from think tanks, politics, NGOs, universities, fellow embassies and the public engaged in meaningful conversations about how the voices of women and non-binary people can be amplified through art, policy, and activism.
